Today is Tuesday 25th May 2010 and I am happy. Yesterday I had moments of so called ‘sadness’, but generally overcame them and remained happy. Perhaps my sub-conscious masks my inherent feelings and pastes a false sense of morality into my mind’s eye, therefore creating the illusion of happiness.

There has been a recent ‘trend’ that people have begun to follow in absolute earnest in the last 10 years or so: The pursuit of happiness. Before the free love explosion of the 60’s, most people were content to work, chill and generally coast through their lives not really questioning anything. The exceptions to this were usually revolutionary thinkers, James Dean and Adolf Hitler (look how that ended up). So everyone was probably too scared, too ugly or too stupid to do anything “meaningful” with their lives except work in a factory and have 13 kids. (more…)
