What do you see when you think about your retirement?
Do you see bright wonderful days filled with doing all the things you never did because you were 2busy2live?
Or Do you, like 95% of the population dread the day you have to start living off the measly pension you might get?
Yip, it’s decision time my friend, you can either have a carefree and fun retirement or you will have to find employment at the age of 65 and work till the day you die!!
Did you know that on average you receive 2% of your salary for every year of service when you retire? This means that should you work 25 years for your last employer you will only get 50% of your current income? That is if they have a pension fund. Quite shocking I know.
But hey you can live on 50% (that’s Half) of what you now earn…right?
So how long do you have until it’s your sunshine years? 10, 15, 20, 30 years? How much have you saved for that great event? What happens if you live till you are 80 years old?
At 60 you will probably be wiser, definitely older but will you also be broke?
At 2busy2live we believe that your retirement years should be your golden years! Having worked most of your life we believe you deserve a decent lifestyle with the option of pursuing the things you never had time for and which you long t do or experience. For instance you could travel the world, experience the luxury of being pampered, watch a lion hunt a gazelle, cruise on a chartered yacht in the ocean, read your favourite books and watch your favourite musicals or theatre productions.
Help your children or grand children build their dreams and spoil the old lady or gent in your life with special little gifts and moments.
Basically live a care free life of pleasure, excitement and self indulgence.
The real questions you should ask yourself are:
Can I afford to get old? Am I wealthy enough to keep living after I retire?
I’m really proud of you
